ROOTS + RECONCILIATION + REVIVAL

ROOTS

In an ever changing world, roots provide the nourishment and stability to grow and weather storms when they come. We cultivate the soil of our life through prayer, worship, studying Scripture, and discernment through spiritual direction, the practices and disciplines of Christians throughout the centuries. We trust the paths walked by the saints, as we keep our hearts and minds open to what the Spirit is doing now.

RECONCILIATION

Reconciliation is at the heart of the gospel: "that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us." 2 Corinthians 5:19. The ministry of reconciliation includes a person being reconciled to God, as well as being reconciled to one another, one's self, and the world. To this end, we pursue peace and justice through mediation and works of mercy.

REVIVAL

Revival begins in us as we deepen our roots and begin pursuing reconciliation. Integrity and wholeness become our reality, not just our dream. Not only do we flourish, but the world around us flourishes too. By God's grace, we are able to know whose we are and who we are called to be. Living in this light brings glory to God. When God is glorified, all of creation experiences the joy, peace, and presence of God.
